IND-ECO – Energy efficiency in the leather sector www.ind-ecoefficiency.eu
IND-ECO project (The Industry Alliance for Reducing Energy Consumption and CO2 Emissions) has the goal of creating the best market conditions to facilitate investment in energy efficiency by tanneries and the entire leather value chain, with a particular emphasis on the footwear industry. Launched in 2012 it is supported by the “Intelligent Energy – Europe” program of EU Commission. The results achieved have made it possible to fine-tune the mechanisms needed to support businesses in assessing their own performance in the use of energy and in evaluating any investments they should make in energy efficiency (Video). The IND-ECO project tools and publications are available on request ( email@example.com).
