Nov 13, 2019. News from the Green Leather Manager course: the graduates who choose to enrol at the Padua University, will be recognized by having a general and an inorganic chemistry exam by several faculties.
This is part of an agreement that the ITS Cosmo Foundation, promoter of the training program, in partnership with the Distretto Veneto della Pelle, the Stazione Sperimentale delle Pelli and the Galilei State Technical Institute of Arzignano has signed with the Paduan institution which also provides professors to teach in some of the course modules and the collaboration with the Associazione Italiana Chimici del Cuoio (AICC).
The diploma, two years after its launch, has been chosen by students coming from the Galilei technical tanning institute which is the premises of the Green leather manager program but also from other technical and economic schooling.
The two-year course, whose new edition has started recently, prepares fifth-level specialist technicians as per the European qualifications framework for lifelong learning, which is the intermediate level between high school and university. It is structured across 2000 hours, of which 800 covered in internships, which are often a prelude to employment. The ITS are Higher Technical Institutes, which means that they are schools with high technological specialization, established to fulfil the demand of the enterprises with new and elevated technical and technological competences.
